VTEC Intakes are new to the UK, manufacturing Induction Air Filters for Honda Vtec models. Each Induction kit has been specifically designed for that engine to give the best performance possible, not just a filter with car specific pipework like others offer. Its long reach position ensures a constant supply of cold air and its unique twin pipe design uses sound resonance to force this air into the engine.
The Big advantage with this intake over other designs in that it is designed purely for the Vtec system, improves mid range torque before the VTEC band and then creates big bhp when in the VTEC Band. Testing has shown upwards of 10bhp with this intake but usual gains are about 7bhp on a standard engine depending on condition and easily more on a modified engine.
